The Colnago – Desenzano sul Garda takes place on the shores of Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy.
The roughly 130 km route is particularly scenic, given that it offers panoramic views of Lake Garda, the foothills of the Alps, and the fertile Po Valley.
Departing from Desenzano, you will skirt north along Lake Garda until you get to Salò, and then turn westward to confront the sloped foothills of the Alps reaching 773 meters at Serle. From here, you will descend towards the Po Valley
You will encounter an interesting crossing near Solferino where you will see the moraine hills of Lake Garda which were formed during the ice age and can be distinguished as gentle circular hills interspersed among the flat plains.
The race offers a medium and short route.
