The Lombardia is one of the most technical Granfondo events there are, and it is run in October, at the end of the season, bringing with it a unique kind of excitement. The start and the finish are based in Cantù, a town in the province of Como. The route is about 110 km with 1700 meters of altitude. It covers a track that includes two monumental climbs, the crossing of unique landscapes and incredible views set against the background of Autumnal colors and atmosphere of Lombardy. Along the way there is no lack of sprints, climbs, descents and numerous changes of speed that will be fun for the participants.  Don’t forget that the day before you can admire the exploits of the professional cyclists that will run the “dead leaves” classic on the same roads. Past editions have seen 2500 amateurs coming from all over Italy and from so many European and non-European countries, challenging each other on this historic Lombardy track.
