The City of Padua Granfondo, also known as the Classic of the Italian Ardennes, has taken place since 2014. The start and the finish are both fixed in the heart of the city of Padua: Prato della Valle. The last edition saw over 2000 participants coming from all over Italy, 15 regions were represented, as well as a growing number of foreign participants, challenging each other on numerous demanding ascents and descents in the Euganei Hills.

The organization of the race is entrusted to the Padua Cycling Association ASD who are involved with the promotion of cycling in the area. They prepared two routes of different lengths, the most demanding is 128 km with 1700 meters of altitude, and the less demanding track is 92.5 km long with an altitude of 1300 meters. Both paths have been designed to highlight the beautiful scenery of the area, combined with tracks with considerable technical difficulty.
