At the beginning of the season, the Selle Italia Granfondo in Cervia is the perfect opportunity to put your training to the test among the pine forests and hills of the Romagna Apennines.\"\"<\/h3>\n

Cervia<\/strong>\u00a0is a town of approximately 30,000 people, founded in the Etruscan era, whose life has been characterized for two milleniums by its famous salt pans. \u00a0The salt of Cervia gives its name to the Spring Granfondo that attracts 3500 participants.<\/p>\n

The route alternates between large scenic pine forests (measuring 260 hectares) that characterize the coast of Cervia. and the challenging Apennine hills of the Tuscan-Romagna region, with a total distance of 150 km.<\/p>\n

From the starting line, the cyclists leave Cervia proceeding inland for about 20 km, before reaching the foot of the Appennines. \u00a0From there you will face the slopes of Montecavallo, Ciola, Montevecchio (Cima Pantani) and Paderno Collinello before descending again towards the finish line in Cervia.<\/p>\n

It is also possible to undertake a medium route of 105 km and a long one of 152 km.<\/p>\n
