The City of Padua Granfondo, also known as the Classic of the Italian Ardennes, has taken place since 2014. The start and the finish are both fixed in the heart of the city of Padua: Prato della Valle. The last edition saw over 2000 participants coming from all over Italy, 15 regions were represented, as well as a growing number of foreign participants, challenging each other on numerous demanding ascents and descents in the Euganei Hills.<\/p>\n
The organization of the race is entrusted to the Padua Cycling Association ASD who are involved with the promotion of cycling in the area. They prepared two routes of different lengths, the most demanding is 128 km with 1700 meters of altitude, and the less demanding track is 92.5 km long with an altitude of 1300 meters. Both paths have been designed to highlight the beautiful scenery of the area, combined with tracks with considerable technical difficulty.<\/p>\n

La Granfondo Citt\u00e0 di Padova detta anche la Classica delle Ardenne italiana, si svolge nel mese di Marzo, dal 2014. La partenza e l'arrivo sono fissati entrambi nel cuore della citt\u00e0 di Padova: Prato della Valle. L'edizione passata ha visto oltre 2000 partecipanti provenienti da tutta Italia, 15 regioni rappresentate ed un numero di partecipanti stranieri in costante crescita, sfidarsi sui numerosi ed impegnativi \"sali e scendi\" dei Colli Euganei. L'organizzazione della gara \u00e8 affidata alla Societ\u00e0 Ciclisti Padovani ASD attenta alla promozione ciclistica del territorio ha predisposto due tracciati con lunghezze differenti, il pi\u00f9 impegnativo \u00e8 lungo 128 km con 1700 metri di dislivello ed uno meno impegnativo con 92,5 km di lunghezza ed un dislivello di 1300 metri. Entrambi i percorsi sono stati studiati per mettere in evidenza le bellezze paesaggistiche della zona coniugandole con tracciati non privi di difficolt\u00e0 tecniche.<\/p>
